The founders formed Collin County Songwriters Association in early 2006 after a yearlong alliance of talent and friendship. Messrs. Parr, Moore, and Galloway produced the first Rockin' the Park concert in May of 2005 with the City of Frisco, Texas. This allegiance, and the addition of Mr. Reames formed the core of the association. The organization is currently pursuing 501(c)(3) status.
